How to make a rubber band car

Materials And Equipment Needed:
4 training wheels
Super glue
Nails
Screws
1 o-ring
Wood
1 dowel rod
Drill
1 helper (DAD)
Hammer
Screw Driver
Saw

Step One: Get all  the materials needed and line them up. Cut the o-ring so its long and in a line so it's not a round anymore.

Step Two: Cut the wood into 4  pieces to the right length, 2 long pieces around 15-20cm. The other two 5cm and attatch 1 wheel to each axle with glue. Cut a dowl rod into 2 which is a bit bigger than the wood you cut.

Step Three: Drill holes in the the frame(which is the 2 long pieces of wood you cut) for the axels.

Step Four: Assemble the frame. Put the 2 long pieces of wood next to each other. Put the 2 short ones at each end. Then nail the wood together.

Step Five: Put the Axels through the assembled frame.

Step Six: Glue the other two wheels on the other side.

Step Seven: Hammer  a nail in the front part of the frame and attach the o-ring to to the nail.

Step Eight: Test it to see if it works.

You make it move my attaching the string on the back rod where the nail is not attached and hold the rubber band on the back rod. Then drive the car backwards until it is all wound up. Let it go and see what happens.
